Kauaʻi Lūʻaus
Lūʻau Ka Hikina
This location of this lūʻau is fronting the ancient royal surfing ground, Lūʻau Ka Hikina. A newly built open-air pavilion offers views that cross the ocean. The event begins with a torch lighting ceremony, followed by and ancient dance called “Hula Kahiko”. The dances are performed under the direction of an award-winning hula master, Kumu Hula – Leilani Rivera Low. You will enjoy a memorable evening filled with cultural entertainment and a traditional Hawaiian feast.
Smith Family Garden Lūʻau
A family business that started over 50 years ago in the sacred Wailua River Valley. Today, there are four generations that contribute to the business and help it flourish and succeed. The lūʻau is a celebration involving the feast (pa‘ina) that includes roast Kalua pig, mahi mahi, and chicken adobo. There is also music and chants as well as hula, Tahitian drum dances, and Samoan fire knife dance. The luau events are on a seasonal schedule to be sure to plan and book in advance.
